Interview with Seizer!
You have seen his face all over Los Angeles. Ever wondered who he is?
I emailed Seizer a list of questions and he emailed me back the answers:
How did you get into creating art? How long have you been doing it? I started drawing with my dad at about age 2.
How did you get into putting your art in public places? How long have you been doing it? I started tagging in 1993.
Where is your favorite location or type of location to put your pieces? As high as possible.
What is the most interesting experience you have had while putting your stuff up in public places? This guy drove by and almost came to a complete stop, we though maybe we knew him or something, but then he looked really weird, like he was on acid or something. Then I though maybe he was a writter that wanted to beat me down or some shit. He pushed on but then came back around and did the same thing, this time with this insane smile on his face. It was weird. Spending 20 hours in Central booking in New York was interesting too.
When is your favorite time of day or night to go put your stuff up around the city? I used to like to do a lot of suff during the day. I did a 20 ft tall roller piece on Wilshire blvd at 2 in the afternoon. But these days its been between the hours of 11pm and 4am.
Have you ever been caught? Yes.
Has anybody ever recognized your face? Yes, well, no, not really.. They recognize it, but the recognize it as Chris Martin. Which is not so bad considering that he is generally accepted as a handsome guy.
Who are your favorite artists? Aaron Horkey, REVOK, Banksy, Craola, Shepard, That guy who wheat pastes the huge photographs, that is dope. can't remember his name. TWIST, IKSO, Basquiat, WK interact, Logan Hicks, And I admire Buff Monsters work ethic.
Any final comments? I love you.

I took the photos in this past several months ago on Vine St. close to Hollywood Blvd. If you walk down Vine St. heading south on the right side of the street, you can probably still see this wheatepaste. Its been there for a while and it was there last week.
