1st St Murals
Here are some of the most beautiful murals I have seen in L.A. so far. These pieces are at the Unitard Gallery (on 1st St. in downtown close to the L.A. river). I was not able to take close ups because I could not get passed the barbed wire fence.

I found out from dash2000.com, (the website of "Nuke" aka Joseph Montalvo) that this was a group show with "asylm / dash / 12er / nuke" that was held in March for Unitard Gallery

It was great meeting you outside Trader Joe's last night... wish we could have exchanged names at least but we had our hands full.
I was able to confirm names by the stencils in the black border alongside the murals. If you go to their websites or google the nickname, you can match the look you may find other information - and then "bomb" - you have details and new websites to add to your blogroll.
"12er" may be the missing artist credit line - for the face facing the street.
Don't be too hard on yourself, memo. Some of the other blogs are done by professional journalists, like Maria's husband, Mike. You'll catch on getting details if it's what you want for your postings.
