Aha! I thought I'd seen these birds before; I saw one hanging from a powerline somewhere in San Francisco this past weekend, done in silver & black.

i see these all over. i started seeing a christmas tree lookin one on 6th street near near hauser or cloverdale
They're multiplying like bunny rabbits. I'm not a jaded cynic by nature, but I can't help but suspect somehow it'll turn out to be some sort of advertising gimmick.
Please don't be an advertising gimmick.
Saw one waaay down in Redondo over the weekend.
